Explore London from new perspectives with NLA’s giant interactive model of central London. See London’s historical and physical development bought to life through projections and films!

VU.CITY's fully interactive digital model of the capital, covering 800 square kilometres of the city also enables accurate visualisations of how the city will look in the near future.

New London Model
  • 1:2000 scale
  • 12.5 metres-long
  • Over 85 square kilometres of London
  • 19 boroughs
  • 170,000 buildings
  • 34km of the Thames
  • 21 bridges
  • From King’s Cross in the north to Peckham in the south and the Royal Docks in the east to Old Oak Common in the west

Touchscreen technology allows buildings and major infrastructure projects to be brought to life across the surface of the model, via projections, showing the key areas of change and revealing the sheer scale of proposed development in the capital. Integrated films document the history and development of London, the impact of the London Plan, major infrastructure plans, the rise of tall buildings and the ongoing influence of the Great Estates.

Model by Pipers Model Makers.
