Explore how the capital’s buildings and streetscapes are changing through our guided walking tour of London’s neighbourhoods – each distinct in their character and history. Discover major new architectural landmarks alongside lighter touch interventions, and how these projects are being embedded into and are adding new dimensions to the fabric of the city’s historic urban context.
Current tour options are Kings Cross St Pancras, Elephant and Castle, The South Bank, Shoreditch, The City of London, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Covent Garden, Holborn, Bloomsbury and Fitzrovia, West End, Victoria, and Canary Wharf. If the area you wish to explore is not listed here do please chat to your event manager for a more bespoke offer.
2. London’s Past, Present and Future – Model Talk
Our 30-45 minute Model Talk around the New London Model, a huge interactive scale model of London, is given by one of our senior curatorial team or a qualified Blue Badge Guide. The talk gives a good introduction to key areas of development and investment in London, as well as current policy initiatives across the city, whilst introducing current NLA research and projects.
3. Bespoke Presentation + London’s Past, Present and Future – Model Talk
Where your delegation wishes to learn more about a specific topic around London’s built environment, we will welcome the delegation with an introductory Model Talk around the New London Model and follow this with a private session on your chosen topic with an industry expert drawn from the NLA network. This visit includes tea and coffee refreshments for all guests.
