Errigal Contracts is a market-leading construction company specialising in partition systems, external facade, recladding, interior fitout, ceilings, and bespoke solutions.
With offices in Monaghan, Antrim, Derry, London, Zurich, and Amsterdam, we work throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe, on some of the most innovative and ground-breaking construction projects from residential, commercial and education to healthcare and hotel & leisure.
We are currently investing in a European expansion which will create additional job opportunities and having constructed almost 50 datacentres across Europe to-date, our expansion will continue to be focussed on this sector.
To date, we have completed over 350 construction projects valued at more than £650m across 12 countries including the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Holland, France, Switzerland, and Denmark.
We are committed to training and developing our young talent and have our own accredited apprenticeship programme and undergraduate programmes in place since 2016. Our City & Guilds approved Training Academy provides a range of different employment opportunities including an Apprenticeship Scheme that sees each student offered a full-time permanent position with Errigal after the successful completion of a two-year course, during which the student will also earn £30,000.
The Errigal Degree Programme is designed for young people with a thirst for a rewarding career in the construction industry. We currently have 19 undergraduates working across Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Design Technology, Procurement and Finance and all at various stages from years one to five. Again, students will be offered a full-time job on the successful completion of their course.
Innovation is at the heart of the Errigal Way and we have invested over £2m over the past number of years to allow us to remain at the forefront of advances in digital construction.
We are involved in ground-breaking work using Artificial Intelligence to develop a device which can sit inside a hard hat and detect hazardous zones and practices on a project.
In addition, we have made significant advances in our off-site construction capabilities with the development of a specialist centre in Northern Ireland.
