At Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands we focus on ways of bringing buildings and spaces together to become civilized and successful environments.
Since formation in 1986, the practice has worked from the ground up with clients, communities and users on projects that regenerate and improve the urban landscape or, out of town, enhance the rural environment. We embrace the cultural, social and historical context of our sites; this guides our choice of the materials and technologies required to create an appropriate architecture for now and the future. Our site specific approach enables us to address many different issues; as a result the schemes we tackle are extremely varied. We have created master plans for inner city regeneration and plans for new rural communities; we have designed housing and offices, restaurants, retail developments and supermarkets, swimming pools, sports and exhibition buildings, a green power station, bridges and building products.
