Nicholas has lived in Hong Kong for over 35 years and is a recognised authority on land administration and planning matters.

As well as running his own property advisory company he is Chairman of the Hong Kong Harbourfront Commission and a member of the Commission on Strategic Development. He is a past global President of RICS, former Chairman of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation and served on both the Hong Kong Housing Authority and the Hong Kong Town Planning Board for over ten years.
