Balazs is a structural engineer and Associate at Price & Myers. He has been with the practice for eleven years over two stints, first joining in 2005 and then returning in 2019. His portfolio spans building typologies from arts to workplace, residential to cultural. Before re-joining Price & Myers he led the teams of engineers working on the completion of La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and 8 Bishopsgate, the UK’s tallest BREEAM Outstanding building. Balazs is passionate about efficient design. He has been leading the Computation Group at Price & Myers focusing on developing digital tools and workflows for greater design efficiencies. He considers the close collaboration between clients, architects, engineers and contractors that lead to a holistic design the most enjoyable.
