I have been an elected representative since 2018 and after serving as Deputy Chair of Overview and Scrutiny for two years, I was appointed as Member Champion for Climate Change in May 2020. I have a passion for the environment and led an in-depth review into environmental sustainability as part of my role on scrutiny. Since taking up my new position I have worked across sectors to develop innovative ideas that can help us meet net-zero carbon targets by 2050.
