David’s passion lies in creating thought-provoking creative and sustainable solutions to complex problems that improve the lives of the people who experience them. A director and design principal in HOK's London studio, he is fascinated with the future of our cities and our making industry, and how we can create truly sustainable places to live and work through buildings which embrace technology to better our relationship with nature.
David embraces ways to help promote healthy and vibrant cities to advance our connection between buildings and public realm. He has extensive experience leading projects in London including feature residential towers at Elephant Park and Deptford Landing. In Ealing his project, Bollo Lane, is TfL’s largest housing project which will deliver 50% affordable housing along a half mile street. The project was granted planning in 2021 to deliver up to 900 homes and 2,500m2 of workspaces and features a fully active street experience. Also in Ealing, David is leading Northolt Grange, a 100% affordable housing project which was approved planning this year for 82 homes. The project provides a range of housing types and adopts a healthy streets approach and provides a new public park, and entrance to the adjacent St Raphael’s Primary School.
