He works across the private and public sectors as Co-Founder + Director of EDLA and Senior Landscape Design Manager at the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), which oversees the development of Olympic Park London. Donald, a respected designer, communicator, and illustrator, has garnered accolades for his exceptional work. This expertise is now shared through design panels, including the Design Council and Design South East, and as a visiting lecturer at the University of the Creative Arts.

Notable among these are the landscape accolades earned by two Build to Rent plots nestled within Quintain's visionary Wembley Park masterplan, as well as his groundbreaking work on an award-winning self-build project in Kent, inspired by innovative Dutch self-build concepts. His impact extends further across the region, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping various urban regeneration, mixed-use, and leisure-focused projects, including the visionary artificial surfing lagoon in collaboration with Seahive, and an extensive community-centric landscape project in the vibrant Ebbsfleet Garden City.
