Ei-Lyn Chia is a Principal at the Greater London Authority (GLA) where she leads urban frameworks and strategies that guide sustainable development and promote good design. Part of her role involves driving the potential of open data and technology in the planning and monitoring of London’s Opportunity Areas.
She was part of the first cohort of Public Practice and has previously worked for built environment practices in the UK and abroad. Prior to the GLA, Ei-Lyn was a researcher at the University of São Paulo examining how public policies and new technologies can change the way we understand, design and occupy cities.
