Helena Rivera is the founder and director of A Small Studio with a demonstrated history of working in the architecture & planning industry. Strong professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) awarded in 2015 at the Bartlett School of Planning, UCL, where her research focused on applying transferable lessons from British New Towns into contemporary housing policy. She is visiting lecturer in Landscape Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Greenwich. A Small Studio Ltd, an architecture practice specialising in site-specific and responsive projects that are thoughtfully designed. The studio was longlisted for the Emerging Architect of the Year award by Dezeen in 2020.
