Henry is a Principal Sustainability Consultant with over 12 years of expertise in designing and advising on environmentally exemplary buildings. He a member of MF:NetZero, our Net Zero Carbon engineering delivery group and has led the sustainability strategy on projects of all scales, from Net Zero Carbon office fit-outs to environmentally exemplary masterplans.
Henry has worked on many industry leading projects, including 11 Belgrave Road, the first office project to be pre-certified to NABERS 5.5 stars, Atomico’s office, the first Net Zero Carbon office fit-out and University of Portsmouth Sports Centre which is the first Sports Centre to achieve BREEAM Outstanding.
His background in environmental psychology provides a unique perspective on the human factors of operational energy use and post-occupancy evaluation, helping to create buildings that have a lower environmental impact in practice. Henry is a RIBA Chartered Architect with masters' degrees in Environmental Psychology and Environmental Design and was a member of the RIBA's Ethics and Sustainable Development Commission. He also leads Max Fordham's Wellbeing consultancy service and often provides this service alongside his environmental sustainability work.
