James has a background in urban design and has worked for over 15 years in regeneration and urban policy with a focus on social innovation and community empowerment. At the GLA he has managed a range of projects and programmes within the Regeneration Team, including the pioneering £5m Crowdfund London programme to support community-led ideas. More recently he has overseen work to promote social integration in regeneration and is the principal lead for the team’s work around High Streets for All.
