With a fascination for understanding how people use spaces, Jane works with companies to get the best value and best use from individual buildings and entire real estate.
In her consulting role, she provides strategic advice on current and future use of buildings, the importance of location, and how companies can anticipate, facilitate, accommodate and implement change. With her design background, consultancy often flows into work on design concepts and also conducting design reviews with external architects.
Her experience is drawn from a career involved with numerous sectors, from public sector, banking and learning environments to media, publishing and technology. Jane regularly advises developers, architects and designers on best practice workplace design, building appraisal and efficiency.
Currently involved in major workplace design and rollout projects for global clients, her expertise is focused on understanding the culture and personality of firms, finding
the balance between providing autonomy and promoting collaborative working, supporting best practice and promoting health, wellbeing and happiness at work.
Jane serves as workplace consulting studio director in Gensler’s London office and is a member of the firm’s Design Synergy management committee.
