Josephine is a key member of Arcadis' Healthcare+ team and on the NLA Next Gen Sounding Board. With a fast-developing range of experience from hospital estate masterplanning, clinical planning and infection-control compliant design; she is working to implement top-down ambition into practical delivery of public healthcare. Josephine has experience navigating healthcare architecture through the planning process and has led a number of sustainable certification submissions since joining Arcadis in 2018, and is currently working on the delivery of a large-scale acute, maternity and children’s hospital within South West England. Having worked with public and private clients; governmental bodies and charity organisations on projects ranging from the micro to macro scale, Josephine is a passionate and versatile designer within Arcadis' Architecture + Urbanism team and brings a fresh approach to improving people's lives. She is a mentor for Women in Architecture; takes direct action within the Architect’s Climate Action Network, and is regional lead for Arcadis' global climate change conference; all informing her drive to improve the efficiency and outcomes within our healthcare estate.
