Kartikeya is the Head of the Sustainability team at PRP and a Module Leader for the master's program in Architecture and Environmental Design at the University of Westminster. He has led the environmental design for some of the most aspirational sustainable developments worldwide and played a significant role in expanding the list of high-quality reference sustainable projects in London. His projects include Battersea Power Station, the LSE Centre Building, King’s College Music School, and Kingston University's Town House (Surrey) - all being RIBA award-winning projects.
He has extensive knowledge across four professional disciplines through his unique working experience in a sustainability studio, architectural practice, building engineering consultancy, and academia. He spearheads various research initiatives to drive sustainability innovation within the practice and has developed a range of bespoke environmental analysis tools. Kartikeya actively engages with the broader industry; he has supervised over 100 master’s dissertations, co-authored research papers for various conferences, advised LPAs on setting sustainability briefs, authored sustainability guidance for institutions and housing associations, chaired and been a regular speaker at sustainability-focused conferences, and is a steering committee member for the upcoming UK’s first climate resilience guidance with UKGBC.
