Louise leads the preparation of multi-disciplinary urban design strategies, masterplans, policy guidance and character studies; all at a range of scales from site to sub-region and developed with local communities and stakeholders. Much of her work focuses on the relationships between the social and spatial, and the implications of these for neighbourhood design; and on character and the importance of built and social heritage in informing future development. Louise sits on the Ealing and Barking and Dagenham Design Review Panels and has lectured at a number of university architecture departments.
