Lucy Tilley is Associate Principal and heads the Adjaye Associates’ London studio overseeing all projects in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Asia & Australasia. She has worked alongside Sir David Adjaye for over 20 years and has been a key figure in the growth and global success of the practice. Lucy was instrumental to many of the early civic and cultural projects that brought the studio to notoriety in London from the Ideas Stores community libraries in Whitechapel—which were credited for pioneering a new approach to library services— to Rivington Place, the first arts building backed by public funds in forty years, in Hackney.
