Matt is a Senior Project Manager at Lendlease and the Co-Chair of the Lendlease Europe All Abilities Network. Following his studies at The Bartlett, UCL, Matt was a Student Union Officer with a focus on student services and working with the College on the UCL Bloomsbury Masterplan.
Matt started his career working on the London 2012 Athlete’s Village and since then has experience on a variety of projects in London including East Village, Kings Gate and the Zig Zag Building, White City Place, One Bishopsgate Plaza and Camden Town Hall. He also spent three years working for Fletcher Construction in Wellington, New Zealand, on a data centre project.
During the course of his career, Matt has developed a passion for creating a more sustainable and inclusive built environment and is always looking at how we can remove barriers to access in our industry. He is a mental health first aider, an active member of the Lendlease Mission Zero working groups and is involved with several industry initiatives including the City of London Skills for a Sustainable Skyline Taskforce, the Accessible and Inclusive Places Industry Steering Group, the Equitable Safety Initiative, National Retrofit Hub and the Supply Chain Sustainability School Retrofit Leadership Group. He is also actively working on industry guidance around removing barriers to access and research collaborations within the industry as well as with higher education institutions.
