His work as Design Lead of the Construction Innovation Hub from 2019-2022, working in collaboration with Buro Happold, BAM construction, Mott Macdonald and Akerlof, an Innovate UK funded Research project investigating the use of Manufactured Platform Construction systems across the UK Government social infrastructure pipeline, culminated in the launch of the new Platform Rulebook in September 2022, a new guide for industry on the use of DFMA and applying Manufactured learning to the construction sector. Matthew is delivering innovative design solutions addressing deliverability, sustainability, and social impact across a number of projects including the St William Bath Gasworks project which adopts MMC in the delivery of over 600 homes in a highly sensitive Ecological and UNESCO heritage location.
