Passionate and a strong advocate of sustainability, a major focus of Michela’s current work is leading Wates Strategic approach to sustainability in London, the South and NHC, delivering on the Group ESG commitments, which are supported by short- & long-term SBTi targets. Previously, she developed and led Mount Anvil’s first ESG Strategy at both corporate and project level, and covered a nationwide role at Stride Treglown, as Head of NZC & Passivhaus, advising a wide range of public and private clients on sustainability and overseeing the carbon aspect of projects across sectors. Michela has a background in architecture, with specialisms in Passivhaus  Design from the Passivhaus Institut and Sustainable Building Design from MIT, she sits on the LETI steering group and is a RIBA mentor.
