Previously Flaherty served as Chief Executive for AECOM in the UK and Ireland. During this period AECOM’s business has been active in the delivery of major UK infrastructure programs: Crossrail, HS2, Hinckley, Heathrow, Gatwick, Thames Tideway and Northern Powerhouse as well as ongoing programs for Highways England, Network Rail and TFL.
Patrick assumed the role of Chief Executive for AECOM’s Integrated Management Services in October 2017. He is charged with expanding this business in the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMIA) region. This business is responsible for AECOM’s activities in the defence, national governments, security and nuclear sectors delivering full life cycle programs; providing infrastructure to secure the future of nations; protecting people and property from natural and manmade threats; mobilizing defence programs; and solving complex environmental challenges.
