Situated in Angerstein Wharf, Rebecca Faulkner’s MArch thesis, sand and the city, offers a counter-perspective to London's declining industrial landscape. Originating from an ongoing investigation into the extraction of finite materials (specifically sand mining), researched through critical writing and performative enactments. Notably, this inquiry led to selection as UAL’s most recent Art for the Environment Postgraduate Residency.
