Rumi is an urban design expert with 15 years of regeneration experience across London. She leads multi-disciplinary teams and works with communities and skilled partner organisations to build better places at the beating heart of London's high streets and town centres.

During her time working across London boroughs and for the Mayor of London, Rumi has successfully led and advised on a variety of regeneration projects, including the Neasden Town Centre Placemaking & Sustainability Action Plan, the Canada Water Masterplan Social Charter, Westway Community Street, the Low Line and the award-winning Peveril Gardens & Studios.
Rumi approaches design intuitively. An award-winning place-shaping expert, her high street and regeneration projects have won New London Architecture, Civic Trust and RIBA awards. In her approach, she advocates for social impact, participatory action, and the revitalisation of spaces to create a shared experience for all Londoners.
