Sarah has been Executive Director of Somers Town Community Association since 2005 and has over 18 years of experience in senior management roles, working with a diversity of partners across the public, private and voluntary sectors to deliver complex multifaceted and multi-dimensional projects.
She has been instrumental in establishing the St Pancras and Somers Town Living Centre in collaboration with The Francis Crick Institute and led the Rough Sleeping Alliance, a cross sectoral project seeking to bring greater understanding and resources to bare on the issue of homelessness and rough sleeping across Camden, and is currently the lead community partner for Somers Town Future Neighbourhood 2030; one of only two areas chosen for full Future Neighbourhood 2030 status as part of a 7.5 million pound programme, which aims to tackle some of London’s defining environmental challenges - including the climate emergency and air quality - whilst creating jobs, developing skills and supporting a just transition to a low carbon circular economy.
