Building a sustainable future with biomaterials

Webinar

Friday 28 June 2024
10:00 - 11:00

Join us to hear some of the latest advancements in biomaterial research as we address opportunities and solutions for wider adoption.
In pursuit of net-zero targets, architects and designers are increasingly turning to natural materials sourced from renewable bio-based sources. Consequently, biomaterial research has advanced significantly.

During this year’s London Climate Action Week, this webinar aims to explore the potential of biomaterials in design. Our panellists will discuss the range of biomaterial usage, whilst delving into some of the challenges hindering wider adoption, such as accreditation, fire safety and market competition. Drawing from their expertise and experience, they will suggest potential solutions for broader adoption in the UK.
