King’s Cross is one of Europe’s largest urban regeneration projects. The masterplan sets out a framework for the incremental development of a diverse mix of uses, embedded in one of the UK’s most significant industrial heritage sites. It is a work of ‘urban repair’ which respects the character of the existing fabric, while introducing a diverse mix of new uses which include five million sq ft of office space, two million sq ft of residential space and one million sq ft of retail.
