The South Molton Triangle is a mixed-use development in the heart of Mayfair’s conservation area. New offices with retail, restaurants, housing, a pub and hotel set amongst new, quality public realm.
The South Molton Triangle is a new redevelopment proposal by Grosvenor Britain and Ireland to transform a prime, but underutilised, Mayfair area into a high-end retail, office and leisure community. The scheme centres around the adaptive re-use of existing listed buildings and includes two new office buildings carefully set behind existing facades. The site covers 2 acres within the Mayfair Conservation Area and is part of the Grosvenor Estate.
Two proposed new office buildings will provide approximately 150,000 sq. ft. of prime office space combined with 58,000 sq. ft. of new shops, restaurants and cafes. Office buildings are designed to meet BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum standards, and are set to achieve a 35% improvement over the current Part L requirements.
The development will also include a new boutique hotel, a conversion of four Grade II listed town houses facing Brook Street, with a destination restaurant and bar. Arow of listed Georgian buildings along South MoltonStreet, will be converted from office use back to residential use, providing both private and affordable housing within the scheme.
