Kate is a Senior Architect at Penoyre & Prasad and is currently working on Oriel, a new building for sight-related care, with clinical, research and education facilities in Camden. The innovative centre for Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and Moorfields Eye Charity lies within the Knowledge Quarter and near St Pancras station. Kate has been focusing on the design of the façade and coordination of the shell and roof as well as leading the internal team on the Planning workstream. She is passionate about feel-good, functional spaces that are welcoming and enhance wellbeing.
Most recently, she was the Project Architect for the St Mary Magdalene C of E all-through School on the Greenwich Peninsula. She has extensive experience in education and healthcare sectors and other key completed projects include the Ark Brunel Primary Academy in North Kensington and The Bloom mixed-use residential, health and commercial project at White City. Kate was the winner of last year’s LFA 2020 Online Architecture Bake Off and has completed long-distance cycle rides for charity.
