Linked to NLA’s recently published report ‘Innovation Districts: Designing Inclusive Places’, this PechaKucha presents a number of London-based emerging innovation clusters, showcasing the latest approaches to the knowledge, creative and tech industries since 2020.

Since NLA published its report ‘Knowledge Networks: London and Ox-Cam Arc’ in 2020, the innovation sector has significantly expanded, contributing to increased economic growth locally, regionally and nationally across the UK. But what have been the biggest developments in London, and how are these knowledge quarters striving to be inclusive, place-based and innovation led? What are the biggest challenges when delivering urban masterplans of this scale?

Featured in NLA’s latest report, we take a closer look at the following emerging innovation districts across London; SHIFT, Canada Water, Brent Cross and Oriel.
