Kwamena gained his Part 1 from Plymouth University where his dissertation investigated the role of the architect in the 21st century. He continued his studies and obtained his Part 2 at Birmingham City University, where his written thesis investigated the perception and definition of success in public buildings, while testing the themes uncovered with a design thesis. Following this he completed his Part 3 at Westminster University and became a chartered Architect.
In his relatively short career, Kwamena Has stood for RIBA council elections, and in his spare time volunteers as a youth mentor and coaches young people on employability.
