Melissa is a Director at Bell Phillips with an award-winning portfolio of housing projects based in London and the South-East and a client list including many of the London boroughs.
Melissa has extensive experience in designing regeneration and residential schemes, as well as urban design, public buildings and public realm. She is a passionate advocate for raising the standards of residential design in the public sector and has a particular interest in the role of residential development as a catalyst for regeneration across the city.
Beyond her role at Bell Phillips, Melissa is an NLA expert panellist for housing and chairs the Waltham Forest and Folkestone & Hythe Design Review Panels. Her early career included a tenure at OMA in the Netherlands, where she worked on high-profile international projects like the CCTV Headquarters in Beijing, developing the public realm strategy.
