BIDs: Bettering the City

Talk

Tuesday 30 May 2023
19:00 - 20:00

How are London’s Business Improvement Districts activating areas? Join us to explore how these partnerships bring investment and opportunity.

Taking a closer look at key projects within these Business Improvement Districts [BIDs], how much impact have the BIDs had on creating destinations where culture, community and regeneration are nurtured and encouraged?

This NLA evening conversation brings a collection of London’s Business Improvement Districts together, to share how collaborations within and around these areas has brought vital investment and opportunity to London. How does the role of each BID encourage the public back into central London? Are new improvement district models being adopted within these places? With an evolving night-time economy and a changeable work force, how are BIDs supporting these transformations? Join us to explore a range of different BIDs and their active role in placemaking, longevity and improvements for the future.
