Join us for this webinar as we discuss the role of partnerships and policy initiatives across London to create active urban environments.
In July 2024, the Quality of Life Foundation, in collaboration with Prior + Partners, released the report ‘Creating Health and Wellbeing’. This research highlights the importance of integrating health-focused strategies in town planning, shifting the focus from treating health issues to fostering overall well-being through environmental design. Acting as a guide for local authorities, the report highlights the role of cross-industry partnerships in achieving healthier urban environments, demonstrating how collaborative efforts between planners, designers, and health professionals can deliver cities that promote the well-being of their residents.
This webinar will explore how urban planning can shape spaces that promote physical activity. How can policies facilitate the integration of leisure areas that encourage physical activity into daily life, particularly through cross-sector partnerships? Can these initiatives enhance public health and overall well-being in London, making city life both healthier and happier?
