Sutton’s landscape is set to change. We have 150 sites identified for development, 47 of which are located in our town centre.
Our council members are committed to see innovative and considerate investment and bring high quality development to the borough. Our exciting, newly endorsed Town Centre Masterplan provides a strong vision and direction for future development in Sutton town centre.
Together with the Institute for Cancer Research and supported by the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and Greater London Authority we are working to create the world’s leading life science district specialising in cancer research and treatment. The London Cancer Hub will create 13,000 jobs, contribute £1.2bn to the UK economy per annum and increase cancer drug discovery by 40 percent.
With excellent schools, parks and open spaces and a local authority committed to generating clean energy and greener environments, Sutton has the potential to improve quality of life for thousands of Londoners
