It has always worked hard to support diversity in the industry, however, the emphasis must be on inclusion, because by being inclusive wider diversity will be achieved. To help drive this further, Women in Property recently invited members to put themselves forward as Inclusion Champions for their branch, to home in on issues and opportunities locally and, critically, get people talking openly and honestly.
Women in Property was founded in response to the significant gender imbalance in the property and construction industry. Now, over thirty years later, while much has improved there is still plenty of work to be done. The ethos, values and inspiration at the heart of the organisation are reflected in the Diverse Leaders Pledge, the messages and motivation are shared, hence Women in Property is proud to be a co-sponsor.
