Harold leads Camden’s low carbon energy and air quality programmes.  Camden is at the forefront of citizen led environmental planning.  Over the last year, Harold delivered the UK’s first Citizens’ Assembly on the climate emergency and, in partnership with UCL, led the community co-design of Camden’s new Clean Air Action Plan, which made Camden the only London authority to commit to stretching World Health Organization guidelines for air quality.  He has also overseen the delivery of Camden’s award winning district energy project, Somers Town Energy in Kings Cross, which connects over 500 homes to a new low emission/low cost heating and power supply. Before joining Camden, Harold worked as a sustainability advisor for London 2012.
