As an Urban Researcher at Futurecity, Maheer collaborates with peers and research associates, contributing to 21 London-based projects, 7 national, and 5 international endeavours. She meticulously analyses data, producing visually compelling reports and maps. Engaging in co-design projects, Maheer devises effective strategies, leads workshops, and contributes to submissions. Her expertise spans technical knowledge, graphic skills, and captivating presentations. Maheer manages internal knowledge sharing and independently conducts research, developing innovative in-house tools. Notably, she launched the urban research team, spearheading initiatives to rejuvenate built environments globally through qualitative and quantitative research. 

 

Outside of her role, she is a Creative Strategist for a women of colour-run club, offering a unique lens on sports and city dynamics. Noteworthy is the design of the London Half Marathon and Relay medal for Vitality 2023. Additionally, she actively contributes as a Community Researcher for an urban growing project by the Wellcome Trust.
