Nightlife for All: Towards a safer 24-hour city

Talk

Thursday 03 April 2025
18:15 - 19:45

Free

Join us for our Evening Talk on how we can prioritise individual safety and wellbeing in London's nighttime urban environment.
With the recent announcement of the Mayor of London’s new Nightlife Taskforce to help support the capital’s revival as a leading 24-hour global city, how do we create better and safer night-time environments not just for party goers, but for vulnerable people and night-time workers travelling to and from work?

Join us for a talk with speakers across sectors and organisations who will discuss the priorities in implementing an effective strategy for London’s night-time economy, with strategies re-purposing public spaces and innovating through meanwhile interventions. Our panel will also be considering the role that developers and the private sector can play in making spaces feel safer at night.
