Redbridge’s update on leisure and culture strategies, a focus on green heritage, country parks, and other future regeneration strategies.
Redbridge is an outer London borough with a culturally rich and diverse community, acknowledged as a great place to live, with high-performing schools, high-quality green spaces, sports facilities and excellent public transport networks.
In this NLA Borough Briefing, the team at the London Borough of Redbridge will update on its leisure and culture strategies, with a focus on the past, present, and future delivery of green heritage and an emerging wellbeing portfolio. Presentations will offer insight into the ambitious Hainault Forest restoration project, in partnership with The Woodland Trust and leisure operator Vision, as well as the Fairlop Waters Country Park master plan and our plans for delivery. Speakers will also outline the plans for a proposed lido in the context of their wider wellbeing strategy; rediscovering and enhancing the heritage of one of the borough’s most treasured parks.
