NLA Study Tour: White Hart Lane

Tour

Tuesday 25 May 2021
08:30 - 10:00

Join NLA, Civic Engineers and muf architecture for a Study Tour with the project team of the White Hart Lane Station and public realm improvement scheme.
LB Haringey is a diverse, fast changing borough, going through a period of sustained growth and regeneration. The White Hart Lane Station and public realm improvement scheme is one of the pioneer projects of the wider Tottenham Hotspur stadium area redevelopment Master Plan which will see significant change over the next 10 years.

Civic Engineers were appointed by LB Haringey to deliver solutions for improving the public realm around White Hart Lane and the Station. Through traffic engineering design, pavement realignment and the introduction of SuDs,

Please come and join us to hear from Stephen O'Malley, Founder of Civic Engineers, and Jenny Kingston, Project Architect and Urban Designer at muf architecture, as they walk through the history of the area and the challenges raised with redesigning streets to prioritise and improve the environment for pedestrians. Listen as they share how increasing the desirability for cyclists and designing for social spaces and activities favoured locals over locomotives.

Guidance on Covid compliance will follow once tickets are booked.

Please note this is an in person event and will take place on site at White Hart Lane. Capacity for this event is 15 and tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
