Ashley is a Principal in Hassell’s London studio. He is one of the firm’s global Heads of Design and brings more than 25 years of experience working in architecture and urban design all over the world – from Australia and Asia to the Middle East and Europe.

Ashley’s extensive experience designing both single buildings and entire city master plans is central to his philosophy that there should always be a mutual empathy between city and building. He has brought this thinking to bear on many agenda-setting projects, including the Tokyo Railyards Development and a new cruise terminal for the Italian city of Palermo.
