Ben is a Director at Atelier Ten with a background of almost 20 years working with top built environment consultancies. He brings with him pan-disciplinary experience of leading a large community of specialists across fields of expertise including Facades, Fire, Lighting and Security, as well as deep technical expertise in Building Acoustics, serving as a Member of the Institute of Acoustics Building Acoustics Council. As part of this work, Ben has published the industry's first white paper advising engineering consultants and manufacturers involved in the specification of acoustic performance in buildings on how to minimise the environmental impacts of their designs.

Ben is a guest lecturer at the Royal College of Arts, and frequently speaks at international conferences.
His expertise has led him to work on many key culture and education projects throughout his career, including the BBC Performance and recording Studios at East Bank, and the Hyde Park Picture House Theatre in Leeds.
