David Storring is Morris+Company’s Director of Sustainability + Innovation. He leads the practices planet-first agenda, developing a robust strategy and roadmap to make sure that projects deliver the highest achievable sustainable targets.
He leads the design and delivery of a diverse set of projects, across sectors with specific focus on complex mixed-use developments driving all aspects of sustainability, both people and planet focused.
He also has extensive experience working on large-scale refurbishments and with listed buildings and is on the LETI (London Energy Transformation Initiative) steering group for retrofit.
He has worked on numerous award-winning projects, recently completing the Energy Hub, Elephant & Castle; a highly sustainable, unique mixed-use building; a combined heat and power plant as well as a cafe and nursery.
Beyond the practice, David co-runs the BSc Design and Technology course at the Bartlett School of Architectures, with a focus on emerging technologies and sustainability, whilst also being a visiting critic and lecturer at a number of leading schools of architecture including The Bartlett School of Architecture, Cambridge University and Kingston University.
