Since the early 2000s Giuliana has been dealing with environmental and territorial sustainability processes with Italian and international experiences.

At Poliedra since 2009, Giuliana is responsible for managing complex projects and carries out research and consultancy activities with specific reference to the design, coordination and facilitation of participatory and e-participation processes and to the decision support methods and tools for the involvement of actors in the choices for the territory and the environment. 

She also deals with methodological and procedural aspects of Strategic Environmental Assessment.

Over the years, she has participated as an expert in seminars and university laboratories and coordinated the organization of training events dedicated to tools and methods in support of deliberative democracy and behavioural change for environmental sustainability. 

She is the author or co-author of a dozen articles and publications.

Since 2017 she is a member of the IAF - International Facilitators Association.
