Laura Merrion Shaw is an Associate Director at Cumming Group who is a key member of the project teams delivering new hotels and student accommodation developments for the UK’s market leaders, whilst leading the façade remediation workstream across the business.

Following the Grenfell disaster in 2017, we were approached by our clients to review the extent of risk associated with fire spread across their portfolios. Overall, Laura has helped to review c.400 properties across the UK and Ireland. 

Laura works closely with clients to manage design teams, contractors and fire engineers to develop pragmatic solutions to reduce risk of fire spread on their properties in a timely manner.
