Leo Bieling is the Executive Director at Bieling Architects and a Course Tutor at the Architectural Association Design Research Lab in London. A certified architect in Germany and the UK, he is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and joined the Bund Deutscher Architekten (BDA) in 2023.

Previously, Leo worked with Zaha Hadid Architects' Computation and Design Research Group on large-scale masterplans and mixed-use projects. He also gained experience at Coop Himmelb(l)au in Vienna and Plus Architects in Melbourne.

His academic contributions include a designer residency at Autodesk BuildSpace  in Boston, a teaching role at UCL Bartlett, and workshops at ETH Zurich and Tsinghua University Beijing. Leo’s work focuses on applied technologies that advance the architectural profession and the built environment
