With over 18 years’ experience in planning and regeneration, Lucy re-joined St James and St William, part of the Berkeley Group, as Planning Director in 2019, where her role crosses a number of teams focussing on planning strategies - unlocking potential of complex sites, site promotion and delivery of challenging urban developments in London and the South East.
In addition, Lucy’s current role includes Planning Director for Berkeley Ventures which was formed in November 2021. A centralised team dedicated to purchasing future land and creating value by securing planning permissions. The company is formed of Berkeley Strategic and the Group’s main land and planning, both focusing on own projects and providing strategic advice and support to the Berkeley Group.
Lucy’s career began in Local Government working in planning policy teams, before moving across to consultancy, specialising in comprehensive regeneration development, giving her a substantial understanding of all areas of planning and the planning processes. This gave a solid foundation for her role at the Greater London Authority, where Lucy worked on numerous high-profile schemes and call ins for the previous Mayor.
Lucy has a specific interest in urban regeneration and design.
