Maria specialises in equitable, inclusive urban placemaking, heritage, and environment. She is CEO of Foundation for Future London, an independent charity fundraising for the people and communities of East Bank - London's new arts, innovation, and education quarter. 

Maria is a Clore Fellowship recipient, has Public International Law MA and author of ‘The Place Making Factor.’ Member of Mayor of London’s Sustainable Development Commission; Co-Chair on regeneration and social value committee.
