Mark has close to 40 years’ experience in property and economic development across both the public and private sector. Mark was part of the team that set up logistics pioneers Gazeley Properties in the ‘80’s and whilst at London Thames Gateway Development Corporation he developed the concept and delivery of the London Sustainable Industries Park as the home for evolving clean technologies.

 

At Enfield Council Mark leads the management of the Council’s extensive property portfolio and commercial development programme as well as overseeing economic Development at the heart of London’s largest industrial and logistics area. The team has recently completed the development of a new UK HQ for Microsoft Azure and is working in partnership with Henry Boot Developments to redevelop the Montagu Industrial Estate in Edmonton.

 

Whilst the area has a long history of supplying London with everything from white goods to sliced bread, recent success in attracting London’s largest concentration of Film & TV production space and projects such as Building Bloqs maker space, highlight how the city’s industrial landscape is evolving.
